In 1995 the business of Termomeccanica Italiana S.p.A., which belonged to the EFIM state group, was handled over to Termomeccanica S.p.A. with the prospect to continue with the Company's significant traditional pumps and plants activities, under a new private management.

In the group three different fields of activity, Termomeccanica is today Italian leader.

A quickly evolving market made it advisable to organizeTermomeccanica SpA into two Companies operating independently, while remaining part of the same industrial and financial group:

• TM.E. SpA TermomeccanicaEcologia
• TM.P. SpA Termomeccanica Pompe

These two Companies are totally controlled by Termomeccanica.
