When two 700 MW units of the Rajasthan Nuclear Power Plant in India required booster pumps and the main boiler feed pumps, Termomeccanica Pompe had to prove in advance the dry running capability of its equipment. By using a test pump with similar characteristics, the company was able to verify that all the design criteria used for the real project pumps was able to fully guarantee a proper behaviour.

Exacting standards and innovation design are two charactistics of our age's project work, particularly in the oil & gas sector. In this article we report on Termomeccanica Pompe’s order to design and supply 14 centrifugal pumps to be installed on the FPF1 platform, which will be located in the UK’s Central North Sea continental shelf. The refurbishment will be carried out at the Remontowa Shipyard, Gdańsk, Poland.
When the existing pumping systems of a hydroelectric plant sited at high-altitute required upgrading, it presented considerable logistical problems, not least because the plant can only be reached by foot or helicopter. The challenge was given to Termomeccanica Pompe which supplied the new-look plant, and its work was designed to optimise the efficiency of the machines in order to reduce costs and to simplify operations.
